Ersan GÜLAY

Ersan Gülay was born in Trabzon in 1973. He studied at Kabataş Erkek High School with TÜBITAK scholarship. He graduated from ITU department of Electrical Engineering as the highest ranked student in 1994. He completed MSc and MBA programs.

Starting his career as a research assistant at KTU, he worked as a production and product development engineer at Koç Holding company TEE (WAT) Motor since 1997, and between 2000-2009 he worked as a new product project leader for domestic and international markets at Arçelik Çayırova Washing Machine Enterprise R&D.

He has managed the business development, investment and operation processes of more than 1 GW renewable energy projects since 2009. As the General Manager of Ağaoğlu Energy since 2011, he has managed 18 companies that have hydroelectric, solar, biomass, cogeneration and trigeneration power plants, along with 600 MW wind power plants. He carried out the transfer processes of some project companies and their facilities.

Ersan Gülay, who is the owner of 6 Sigma Black Belt, has 20 years of project management experience in the industry and energy sector, along with strategy and organization development, procurement, risk management and total quality management.

He is father of 2 children.
